I have a 5260 walk behind with the Kohler K181 that we use at our cabin for general cutting and brushhogging. I wrote on my “to buy list” For this year that I needed new battery cables. Like the idiot I am, I didn’t write down what length I needed. Does anyone know what length I would need? I would check myself, but the tractor is 7 hours away currently

The battery cables on my 5265 are approx 18” long and could probably get away with shorter. I’ve never replaced them and don’t know for sure if they’re original. Both ends are fish-eye shaped to put a bolt through. I hope it helps.
5260 Firewalls

Okay so this is a bit of a stretch but I figured I would give it a shot. My company purchased two 5260 firewalls with full hardware for them and the client we bought them for ended up not needing them. So we paid 983k and are now trying to offload both. Do any of you have a client who may need them or are building a crazy personal setup that needs two firewalls? Specs below, TIA!

I was really exited to find one of these locally for only 150 bucks, since from what I’ve seen on this sub they’re basically unshippable anymore. I ordered an ImageWriter for it, and finally opened my old copy of word to use!

How do you know the feed dogs are causing your problem? Can you see them not coming up above the needle plate? Or does the fabric fail to advance? If you don't have thread or other sewing gunk stuck in the feed, check your presser foot pressure, if you have that adjustment, as you might have knocked it loose. Check your tensions, too, as something could have gotten moved out of place. You know, the cat hops on the table while you're away, marks the machine and messes with the settings.
Unfortunately I can't find blow up diagrams or a service manual readily available online, nor any service videos. This person says he's going to post more videos on the earliest Juki-made Baby Lock, which should be fairly close to yours, but he hasn't done so yet:
